New BIM objects from Valsir and Green Furniture Concept

Valsir

Valsir offers advanced systems for waste, drainage and water supply. Since its first launch in December, Valsir has continued to develop high-quality objects for its BIM catalogue on the BIMobject Cloud.

This launch includes the waste and drainage systems - Silere, Traps and HDPE - which users can use to create a pipe system through the auto-routing functionalities offered by Revit MEP. The new release also includes Tropea S With Ariapur, an in-wall flush cistern with ventilation which BIM users can use to create complete WC systems connected to the waste and water supply system. Revit models of the Valsir products are parametric and easy to use. Templates and PDF guides are available on the product pages.

Green Furniture Concept

Green Furniture Concept makes sustainable design for public indoor areas. Winding, seamless seating and acoustic lighting from Green Furniture Concept can be found in places like Gothenburg Airport, the Strand Galleria (Melbourne) and Stockholm Central Station.

This latest release includes new versions of the Leaf Lamp tree and the flexible benches in the Nova C Series. The objects are available for ArchiCAD, Revit and SketchUp and include options for materials as well as variations of object types.

ACTIU – a dedicated user of BIMscript® & LENA

Last November, our BIMscript® Product Manager and the Managing Director at BIMobject Spain, visited Parque Tecnológico Actiu to run a workshop on how to streamline and accelerate ACTIU’s process of BIM content creation by using the technology of BIMscript & LENA.

The aim of the workshop was to teach the team of ACTIU how to build BIM objects using the BIMscript & LENA technology and to integrate the development of BIM objects in their workflow. Now, the 3D development team at ACTIU can build parametric BIM objects on their own. BIMscript & LENA allows them to generate native BIM objects for Revit, ArchiCAD and SketchUp at the same time, based on for example 3D AutoCAD and STEP files.
