Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, further expands its profile on the BIMobject Cloud with Exiway as BIM objects.

Exiway delivers emergency power and lighting systems which are key elements in all buildings. This emergency lighting product range is specially designed to make installation and maintenance cycles easier and safer. Use these newly available Revit 2014 objects to design your buildings’ emergency lighting and signage systems.

SCA

Global hygiene and paper company SCA that owns the Tork^® brand continues to expand its digital catalogue on BIMobject Cloud, by offering more BIM objects to the North American market.

Products suitable for public washrooms are now available for download in both ArchiCAD and Revit formats. These BIM objects not only represent the products in their full geometry (2D and 3D), but they also show the materials in realistic views. The objects contain links, sending the users directly to the manufacturer’s homepage, in order to get additional technical information.

BIMobject LIVe USA

BIMobject had its first American LIVe conference on October 29th at the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco. The one day event attracted a crowd of current and future BIM professionals who listened to leaders and experts in BIM, BIM objects and cloud based digital marketing and pre-sales guide them through the changes and opportunities facing the industry. The day continued at Autodesk’s Pier 9 Workshop where event-goers got to see the intricate work going on in the 3D printing lab.
