ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems expands their range of BIM objects
We are happy to announce even more automated entrances to our range of products on the BIMobject® Portal. The latest BIM objects available include pedestrian and industrial doors from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Besam sliding-, swing- and revolving doors, as well as Crawford industrial overhead sectional doors) and provide design information for use with both ArchiCAD and Revit software.
BIM objects are free of charge and include all features of the actual products such as: standard colors, size variations, different profile systems and panel configurations, and corresponding hardware like locks, handles, etc. The objects retain a high level of detail and intelligence in order to extract a full bill of materials and documentation.
Engineers, architects and designers can see opening and closing functions in the 2D and 3D windows at an early stage in the design process – securing no interference in the immediate perimeter of the doors.
