BOTTLE SHORTLISTED IN NATIONAL AWARDS

BOTTLE, the Oxfordshire based public relations consultancy, has been shortlisted in the “Consultancy of the Year” (Boutique) category at the prestigious PR Week Awards 2011. The PR Week Awards are widely accepted by the PR and communications sector to be the equivalent of the film industry's 'Oscars'.

In addition to this latest recognition, 2011 has seen BOTTLE scale the coveted PR Week league tables to secure 103rd place in the ‘UK’s Top 150 PR Agencies’ and 38th place in ‘Top Digital Consultancies’.

As part of the route to the finals, BOTTLE was asked to present to a judges panel of PR industry figures in July. The awards will be presented at a gala evening on 25th October at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

Established in 2003 by Claire and Will Cairns, BOTTLE’s clients range from popular high street retailer Poundland to RES Group – one of the world’s leading renewable energy project developers. Work ranges from creative social media PR campaigns to corporate communications.

BOTTLE have had a successful 2011 delivering 29% growth year on year compared with an industry growth average of 9.24%. The consultancy’s social communications profile has soared too, with online communications accounting for 25% of the consultancy’s client activity and BOTTLE’s Head of Social Communications taking a lead in social web discussions on Twitter and at social media conferences.

Claire Cairns, Founder and Director of BOTTLE says: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for the ‘PR Consultancy of the Year’ category at the PR Week Awards. This is recognition for the hard work and ‘BRING IT ON’ attitude of our team over the past year and is a fantastic achievement for the business.”
