Damco Elect BOTTLE To Raise Its Profile

Damco, one of the world’s leading third party logistics providers, hasappointedBOTTLE to handle its PR brief for 2012.  BOTTLE has specifically been tasked withpositioningDamcoas the preferred provider of logistics within the toy industry.

BOTTLE kicked off the partnership with an immediate experiential campaign during London Toy Fair. Toy manufacturers, distributors and retailers were sent mock airline tickets, inviting them to send one of their toys on a round-the-world trip of a lifetime, before being donated to a children’s hospital. As part of the campaign, BOTTLE created an airport departure lounge at the London Hilton Olympia, where people could relax whilst dropping off their toys. This enabled Damco to recruit participants into the ‘Toy Story’ and offer their supply chain services to top names in the toy industry including Disney and Mattel.

BOTTLE will continue to generate trade media coverage and introduce Damco to toy manufacturers both within the UK and Germany.

Lianne Jones, Head of Marketing at Damco Europe says: “We approached BOTTLE having received a strong recommendationfor theirongoing work with national toy manufacturer re:creation. We are delighted to elect BOTTLE to raise our profile within the logistics industry and are already thoroughly impressed with BOTTLE’s creativity for the recent campaign during London Toy Fair."

Claire Cairns, Founder and CEO of BOTTLE says: "BOTTLE is thrilled to be working alongside DAMCO and its brilliant that our work so far has generated such effective results. Damco adds to BOTTLE’s already strong positioning within the toy industry, which provides us with insight into how we can raise awareness of Damco to the relevant B2B and corporate audiences."
