Press Release   •   Dec 21, 2015 10:41 GMT

BT TV today became the first TV service in the UK to offer Netflix in Ultra HD.BT TV customers will be able to view some of the world’s biggest TV shows via the new Ultra HD YouView+ set-top box and adding Netflix’s Ultra HD plan for only £8.99 a month*.

BT TV was the first UK TV service to offer Ultra HD content through BT Sport Ultra HD, and with today’s launch customers can now also enjoy some huge hit TV shows such as House of Cards, Narcos, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and Better Call Saul on Netflix.

Customers signing up to Netflix will benefit from the simplicity of having Infinity Broadband, BT TV and Netflix in one single bill, and streaming Netflix through their box will not eat into the customer’s broadband download allowance. With instant access to Netflix in Ultra HD from their set-top box, BT TV customers can watch a wide and growing variety series, including Marvel’s Daredevil, the historical drama series Marco Polo, films such as the Ridiculous 6 and documentaries like Keith Richards: Under the Influence, and What Happened, Miss Simone? with more titles being added nearly every single day.

Delia Bushell, managing director of BT TV & BT Sport said: “This is bringing our BT TV customers the best drama series married with the highest quality viewing experience now available. Our Ultra HD package will enhance the experience and provide unmissable content at great value, including must-see new Netflix shows like Narcos, and original series like Orange Is The New Black available, alongside live action from the Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League and Europa League. We’re delighted to be offering our customers a wide range of incredible Ultra HD content with the convenience of a single bill.”
