Road works notice - British Gas on Rochdale Old Road

Please be aware - British Gas are about to start work to replace a high pressure gas mains in Bury, which means road works at the junction of Rochdale Old Road/Jericho Road/Rough Hill Lane.

The work will take place from Monday 27 March to Monday 10 April, and will involve 24-hour temporary traffic signals at the junction which will be manned at peak periods.

British Gas say the work is necessary due to the demand for gas within the grounds of Fairfield Hospital, and point out that the gas pipe was laid more than 100 years ago.
