Traffic disruption - Bury New Road, Prestwich

A large hole has appeared in the carriageway on Bury New Road in the vicinity of M & S food hall.

The carriageway has been taken down to one lane in each direction while investigations take place and the road is made safe.

Drivers areĀ advised to avoid the area where possible as heavy traffic congestion is expected.
