Weather update

There has been stormy conditions in the Borough over the past 48 hours.

Areas mostly affected are in the north of the Borough, particularly in Ramsbottom, Tottington and Hawkshaw where there has been localised road flooding due to leaves blocking gullies.

The Council is responding to reports and inspecting hot spots.

River levels are beginning to drop and are being monitored.

For emergencies please contact the Councils control room on 0161 253 6606
