Besses ward by-election on Thursday 19 July

A by-election will be held in Besses ward in Whitefield on Thursday 19 July.

The election has been prompted by the resignation of councillor Elizabeth FitzGerald who has represented the ward since 2012.

Anyone who wishes to stand as a candidate in the by-election has until 4pm on Friday 22 June to submit their nomination forms. Nomination papers can be collected from the elections office at Bury Town Hall.
