Bury West Township Forum Meeting

The next meeting of the Bury West Township Forum takes place at 7pm on Tuesday 8 March 2016 at the Elton Centre.

The open forum and public question time will take place as usual and agenda items include:

  1. Police update.
  2. First Buses – The Bury Operations manager will be attending to discuss any issues people want to raise with the buses in theBury West area.
  3. Update from the highways sub group.
  4. Bury West Township Area Plan.
  5. Advisory Group Update.
  6. Funding Report.

    From 6pm, prior to the start of the meeting at 7pm, members of the I Will If You Will and Bury Directory teams will be available to showcase their services.


    I Will if You Will is a movement in Bury aimed at getting more women and girls more active, more often.It’s delivered by Bury Council with Lottery funds from Sport England.

Formed in April 1974 as a result of Local Government re-organisation it was one of the ten original districts that formed the County of Greater Manchester.
