Fancy a talk about the words and the bees??

Radcliffe Readers Group was so taken with Laline Paull’s book ‘The Bees’ that they decided they needed to know more.

They have invitedDerek Cartwright from Horwich Honey to the library to give a talk about how to encourage bees into your garden and what impact we as humans have on these industrious insects.

Laline herself was so pleased that Radcliffe Readers loved her book and were inspired to find out more that she responded to the library’s social media post by saying “All that time alone in a shed, wondering if my weird book would ever get published. All that labour in obscurity. Fellow writers take heart”.

The session is at Radcliffe Library on Saturday 19 November, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. It’s free, and there’s no need to book – just turn up.

For more information, call Sarah on 0161 253 7163.
