Help for those with a hearing impairment

Help is at hand for people with hearing impairments thanks to free sessions held in the Green Room, Bury Connect and Direct, Textile Hall, Manchester Road, Bury (next to Bury Library).

The first event is on Monday 5 August (2-4.30pm) which looks at the various types of equipment that are available to help with hearing loss.

  

Further sessions:

  • Monday 2 September - Tinnitus
  • Monday 7 October - Telephones with amplification
  • Monday 4 November - Communication tactics
  • Monday 2 December - Equipment to help with hearing loss

The sessions have been organised by Bury Audiology Unit Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, Bury Society for Deaf and Hearing Impaired People, Bury Libraries Sensory Unit and the Sensory Team Adult Care Services.
