If forums be the food of love, play on!

The twelfth night of 2017 promises to be a busy occasion for Bury East Township Forum.

Top of the agenda is a budget road show from Bury Council, outlining plans to cut £32 million from its budget over the next three years.

Persona Care and Support will be inviting people to join a ‘stakeholder forum’ and help them play a part in shaping how social care will be delivered in future.

The meeting is at the Peel Room in Bury Town Hall, starting at 7pm, and there will be the usual open forum and public question time.

There will be a drop-in session before the forum starts (from 6pm) when visitors can view the plans drawn up under the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework.

Further details: David Thomas, Township Forum manager, on 0161 253 7455.
