Love Where You Live – at Bury Market

Are you proud of Bury? Want to tell the world? Then head for the town’s famous Bury Market on Saturday (13 July).

BBC Radio Manchester will be there from 9am to noon, broadcasting their programme Love Where You Live, which aims to find people who have a special pride in their home town.

Their presenters Allan Beswick, Sam Walker, Becky Want and Phil Trow will be out and about across Greater Manchester this summer, meeting listeners and broadcasting from community venues. They’re looking forward to meeting people and hearing their stories and views on local issues.

Andrew Heyes, Bury Markets manager, said: “Lots of Bury people are quite rightly proud of their town and, of course, our award-winning market. Come and meet the BBC and let everyone know about it!”
