Press release -

Road improvement works in Radcliffe

A scheme to improve a main road in Radcliffe starts next week, which will mean diversions for a short period.

Work will begin on Monday 27 March on Church Street West, between Barlow Street and 46 Church Street West, and last for one week.

Drainage and footway works will take place from Monday to Friday during the off-peak hours of 9.30am and 3pm, when temporary two-way traffic signals will operate. Following that, the road will be fully closed at this location (except for access) on the weekend of 1 and 2 April (8am to 6pm) while the carriageway is resurfaced. Diversions will be signed.

The work will depend on the weather, and will be followed by putting down new road markings.
