Roadworks and diversions on Knowsley Street

Work will start on 10 June to repair the carriageway on Knowsley Street between Bury Town Hall and Knowsley Place.

During construction, a one-way system will operate on Knowsley Street between the Q Park entrance and Angouleme Way, with traffic flowing towards Angouleme Way. A diversion route will be in place for southbound traffic via Angouleme Way and Manchester Road.  The remainder of Knowsley Street will still be open to two-way traffic.

The work is expected to take three weeks. In addition, some remedial works will be taking place on the footways. This will be carried out on behalf of Ask Development as part of remediation works in relation to the Townside development.
