Tenth Bury Art Festival to help Bury Hospice

Press release -

Tenth Bury Art Festival to help Bury Hospice

Organisers of Bury Art Festival hope that people will flock to their annual exhibition in aid of Bury Hospice.

Held at Bury Art Museum in May, the festival is now in its tenth year and has raised more than £100,000 over the last decade for the hospice.

The organisers hope that their tenth anniversary show will be the most successful yet. More than 100 artists took part last year and hundreds of visitors attended.

Bury Hospice costs more than £2m a year to run, and relies on the local community to provide the bulk of the funding it needs.

The festival will run from Friday May 10 to Saturday May 18 May. Bury Art Museum is open 10am to 5pm Tuesday-Friday, and 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday.
