CALM Texting Service to End

The CALM texting service, a service which we developed to meet the needs of young men, will end on Oct 31st 2014.  Take up of the service has been very low, despite our best efforts.  By comparison, our other text-based support service, web chat, has experienced strong take-up and so we want to focus our resources on this and our helpline.

If you have been using the texting service please try out web chat service on our Get Help page on the website, open from 5pm to midnight, and see if this meets your needs.  If you only want to use texting, rather than our other services offered, then please accept our apologies.  You can receive text help from Samaritans on 07725909090 or HOPEline UK on 07786209697.
