New 'Help is at Hand' launched at the Manchester Suicide Bereavement Conference

The updated resource for people bereaved by suicide, Help is at Hand, was launched today at the Manchester Suicide Bereavement Conference. For the first time, individuals who have been bereaved by suicide have been the principal authors of the guide, with support from experts at Public Health England, the National Suicide Prevention Alliance and Suicide Bereavement Support Partnership.

Bereavement by suicide is a unique form of grief. If you, or someone you know has been bereaved by suicide, Help is at Hand offers practical and emotional information and support. It includes stories, advice and sources of help to try and help people feel less alone.

Further information is available at www.supportaftersuicide.org.uk and printed copies can be ordered from www.orderline.dh.gov.uk by quoting 2901502/Help is at Hand.
