Press release -

Free family fun day for North Tawton

Local employer Vital Pet Trade Specialist – a pet product wholesaler – has joined up with North Tawton Rugby Club to offer a free family fun day this summer. The event takes place on Saturday 21st July at North Tawton Rugby Club from 10 am to 3pm. North Tawton families and their friends are welcome to come along to the event where there will be a bouncy castle, junior rugby, face-painting, a glitter tattoo artist, hot and cold refreshments, a bar and a raffle.

Businesses in the area that would like to have a trade stand can also take part for a small £10 donation to North Tawton Rugby Club by contacting hr@vitalpetproducts.co.uk.

Director Sunny Sharma says the company is delighted to be supporting the event, “The community around our North Tawton depot have supported us so well over the years and now that Vital is under new management we wanted to give something back. It’s our national depot, delivering to thousands of pet shops all over the country and we employ over 100 people there, making it incredibly important to our business. The fun day will allow us to say thank you to our employees and all the people in and around North Tawton and we hope everyone has a fantastic day.”

With pets at the heart of the business, the Vital team is hoping to see some furry friends too although unfortunately dogs won’t have access to the main pitch where the trade stands are located but they can be walked on the training pitch and back field where lots of the activities take place.

The rugby club will be providing car parking on the day for a small donation.
