Lintbells go on the road with YuMOVE supplement

PRESS RELEASE

May 2017

This summer will see Lintbells, manufacturers of premium natural joint supplement YuMOVE, take to the road visiting a host of dog-based events across the UK. Lintbells want to encourage dogs and their owners to ‘choose an active life’. The team, which includes a veterinary professional at each venue, will also be raising awareness about the importance of healthy joints in dogs and how to spot stiff joints. Pet owners will be encouraged to visit their vet to talk to them about any concerns identified on the day.

The events being visited include: Paws in the Park in Ardingly, West Sussex on 13th-14th May, This Morning Live at the Birmingham NEC on 18th-21st May, The Great North Dog Walk in South Shields on 4th June, Strutt your Mutt in Beccles, Suffolk on 11th June, Dogfest North in Northwich, Cheshire on 17th-18th June, Dogfest South in Stevenage, Hertfordshire on 24th-25th June and Bark in the Park in Southport on 23rd September.

As well as various demonstrations and help to enable dog owners to perform regular visual mobility checks at home, there will be the chance to learn more about Lintbells YuMOVE and a selection of YuMOVE Dog samples to take home and try.

Dogs will also be able to show off their skills in a specially designed mobility course designed to identify loss of flexibility or impaired joint function. The Lintbells team will be on hand to support owners, offer tips and advice and to talk through any concerns about dog health.

John Davies, co-founder of Lintbells, said: “Mobility problems form a significant part of the case load for many practices but we know that many more cases of impaired mobility are simply not recognised or attributed to old age. If we can show dog owners how to maintain joint health and recognise when their dog needs help that’s got to be good for the pet, good for the owner and good for practices too. We encourage vets or nurses in the area to come along and see what we are doing to raise awareness of mobility issues and we hope that as a result of the activity they see more clients coming through the doors asking for the help they need.”

About Lintbells

For Lintbells, every product starts with a pet in need. Based in Weston in Hertfordshire, Lintbells researches, formulates and sells high quality, innovative natural supplements that aim to improve the lives of dogs, cats and horses. It’s a commitment the company takes very seriously and has resulted in products that support skin and coat condition, digestive health, behaviour and joint care.

Established in 2006 by John Howie and John Davies, Lintbells has a strong focus on scientific validation of its products, working with experts such as the Royal Veterinary College and New Zealand’s Marlborough Research Centre. But it doesn’t stop with the science because helping pets is at the core of the business.

At all levels of the Lintbells’ organisation there’s a realisation that collectively, everyone has a responsibility to help keep pets healthy and happy by providing effective, high quality, pet supplements at affordable prices.

And it seems those efforts are increasingly appreciated by pets and their people. By the start of 2017, 200 million YuMOVE tablets have been sold to pet owners in more than 15 countries.
