He must be able to deal a game and in the same time talk to the players in a friendly way. He is in control of the game as well as he is an entertainer.

Croupier: a job you can do with no formal qualifications

Being a croupier does not require any formal qualifications. All you need is enthusiasm. As long as you are 18 or over, from U.E and with no criminal records, you are good to go.A croupier has different qualities such as memory, concentration, good with numbers, his 10 fingers working properly, a good overall appearance. Croupier is a scalable job: you can become an inspector very quickly, and then pit boss.

Croupier: a universal job that makes you travel

Being a croupier is the best opportunity to travel. It is a universal job. Game rules are the same all around the world (only procedures change from one country to another). A croupier can travel thanks to his job: in Europe, America, Canada, Australia, as well as on cruise ships. On there, croupiers do not have to pay for their room, or their food.
