Archie and the Bunkers: Cleveland punk duo to play Third Man Records & Goner Records Festival

Cleveland's "Hi-Fi Organ Punk" duo, which consists of teenage brothers Emmett and Cullen O'Connor, have made massive headway since forming in 2013.  Earlier this year, Alternative Press  proclaimed that Archie and the Bunkers, "Will own you in 2016" and it would appear that prediction is loudly ringing true.

Late last year, the group released it's self titled debut album (recorded at Ghetto Recorders in Detroit with famed producer/engineer Jim Diamond) on Dirty Water Records, which took off like a rocket across the Globe elevating their status from word of mouth locals, to international acclaim.

After a two week successful European tour and partnering up on a split single with Danish garage punk siblings PowerSolo, the band have just released their follow-up, Mystery Lover; a six song EP engineered by Jason Tarulli, at his recording studio in Akron with Nick Knox, former drummer of The Cramps sitting on the producers chair over the new recordings, which opens with the rousing Doors-like track “All That Lovin.'

Since returning from Europe, the two brothers will receive some seriously hot southern hospitality by performing at Third Man Records coupled with cutting a live 7-inch at the famed establishment in Nashville on September 28th, followed by a very special appearance at the exclusive Gonerfest in Memphis on October 1st. The group's momentum shows no sign of fading - as the final stretch of "owning" everyone in 2016, continues unabated with industry insiders and taste-makers already plotting more global domination in 2017.
