For Fans Of: The Sonics, The Legendary Shack Shakers, MC5, Dr Feelgood, The Hives
The Witchdoktors are legends, almost. Formed in 1986 they have long established themselves as one of the UK’s greatest ever Garage Punk bands. A 5 Year residency at Soho’s 12 Bar Club in London and hundreds of live performances across the country and overseas has seen them rise from underground villains of rock'n'roll to legitimate hoodlums of guitar fuelled chaos! They have shared the stage with many of their own heroes (and influences) such as The Ramones, The Damned, The Cramps, Fleshtones, Revillos, Urban Voodoo Machine, Legendary Shack Shakers, The Germs, Wreckless Eric and many others.
Produced by Pat Collier (Ruts DC, UK Subs, Wonderstuff, Jesus & Mary Chain) and Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, David Bowie, H.I.M, Robert Plant) ‘ Voodoo Eye’ sees the band’s songwriting reach a new peak, capturing the true spirit and sonic impact of their live shows and making this hard hitting 4th album a worthy follow-up to 2008’s critically acclaimed ‘$3 Dollar Hooker’ .
Lead Guitarist and Vocalist, Planet Andy says, "We put a lot of time, blood, effort and sweat into making this album and now we need to do the same to get it out there and spread the word!"
"We're so lucky to get to see and play with so many bands that give 100%, have great tunes and put on a great show! Were part of an exciting live music scene that is being driven further underground by corporate greed and city planners. Look at what happened to The 12 Bar Club for fuks sake. How can that stuff happen, so sad! BUT, we WILL survive in one way or another because what we ALL do is honest! No Pain No Gain

Bomber Music began in a bedroom in 2001. It has since moved downstairs. Originally just a music publisher, Bomber Music is now the leading punk label in the UK with a varied roster of bands all having a different approach to making a beautiful noise. Punk, Rockabilly, Garage, Reggae, Ska, Folk. While still very much retaining a DIY ethic, the company also keeps one toe in the mainstream business and the bands sell all over the world. Amongst them The Skints, Jaya The Cat, Random Hand, Petrol Girls, Graveyard Johnnys, www.bombermusic.com /www.facebook.com/bombermusic / www.twitter.com/bombermusicltd
