Press release -
Two senior appointments at elephant communications
elephant communications has made two senior additions to its team following a number of new client mandates in recent months.
Paul Bellamy has joined elephant as its Creative Director. Paul draws on a 15-year career in design and digital work for international and UK brands. Building on elephant’s current social media work, Paul will led elephant’s digital work advising clients on website design, mobile strategies as well as branding and design work.
Emma Simon has been appointed by elephant to help with its training and coaching work. She was formally the personal finance editor at the Sunday Telegraph and has 18 years’ experience in journalism, working for national newspapers, press agencies and specialist trade publications.
elephant communications launched in 2012, aiming to provide clients with a fresh consultancy approach attuned to changed economic climate, and the win-win of a senior heavy team working to a low-cost business model. The firm was recently named ‘New PR Agency of The Year’ at the PR Moment Awards in London.
Rebecca Ellis-Owen, Client Director at elephant commented: “As an agency we made a decision at the outset not to structure our business by industry sector, audience segment or media channel – in a connected world we didn’t want a silo culture. Instead, elephant’s service lines are based on the added value and specific skills that in-house teams tell us they need to bring in to bolster the skills of their existing team. Beyond strategic, creative and campaign work, our training and creative work have boomed this year. Paul and Emma each bring significant experience to these key areas and they are a natural fit for our culture and way of working.”
