Ward & Partners make a super effort for ellenor

Staff from ellenor supporter, estate agency firm Ward & Partners, took part in a fundraising challenge on Thursday 13 October to raise vital funds for the hospice charity. From their offices all over Kent, Ward & Partners staff came to volunteer in three of ellenor’s 16 shops – in Crayford, Bexley and Dartford - for the day; competing with one another to raise as much money as possible by getting involved in various activities.

The teams had to use both their creative skills and expert salesmanship in order to excel in the challenge. For example, at ellenor’s Crayford shop, there was a bucket collection in fancy dress, a thrifty £2 dress rack and tombola – among other things!

After a day of putting the ‘fun’ in fundraising, the teams met up at ellenor Dartford to celebrate the fact that, in total, the teams raised £2500.

“A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who participated in the fundraiser,” said Katherine Mobey, Premium Partnerships Manager at ellenor. “We are incredibly grateful to Ward & Partners for their continued and generous support over the years. This type of fundraising exercise is great for team building, while making a difference in your local community.”
