The Cycle Show, hosted by Graham Little and promising ‘Top gear-style’ features, is launching on ITV4 on Monday 23 July 2012 and is destined to be a huge success. With the 99th Tour de France dominating the sports pages in the press and the Olympic Games starting in the same week, with cycling expected to be once of the most watched sports of them all, cycling is really taking the limelight. What these athletes, readers and spectators all have in common is love for two wheels - so if you feel inspired, why not try a cycling holiday with Exodus?

Exodus, the UK’s leading adventure tour operator, with more than 60 different cycling itineraries across 32 countries, reports its cycling product is up more than 30 percent – a reflection of the nation’s obsession with the sport. Therefore, with trips including Puglia: Cycle the Heel of Italy, Cycle Vietnam and Cycling Drakensberg & Kruger, in the portfolio, there is no reason to stay indoors.

Plus, to celebrate the Tour de France, Exodus has launched a competition to win a state of the art Trek 1.1 C H2 (2013 Model) bike. Visit the Exodus facebook page for more details https://www.facebook.com/exodustravels/.

Responding to increased demand, Exodus added 14 new cycle trips to their brochure this year and will add another 30 for the forthcoming 2013/2014 season. Here is a selection of trips you can take this year with Exodus:

Classic Cols of the Tour de France – 8 days from £999 including flights. Next departure dates are 21 September and 28 September 2012. Every year France holds its breath as the multi-coloured peloton winds its way into the Pyrenees, producing some of the most dramatic and memorable moments of the Tour. But the cols are not just the preserve of the likes of Cav, Wiggins and Armstrong. All the mountains can be ridden by anyone who is fit and wants to experience the buzz of cresting a pass. This challenging itinerary takes in eight of the most famous cols, including the Aspin, Portet d'Aspet and Peyresourde, and gives you the option of taking on a few more. The crowning moment is the ascent of the Col de Tourmalet, at 2115m the most formidable road pass in the Pyrenees.

Biking in Bosnia – 8 days from £1,169 including flights. Next departures are 12 August and 16 September 2012. With rugged peaks, mountain trails and fast gravel tracks, this trip is ideal for seasoned mountain bikers looking for a challenge. Off the bikes there is time to explore Sarajevo, Bosnia's capital city that hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the charming Mostar with its famous reconstructed bridge.

Jebel Sahro Ride & Marrakech – 8 days from £999 including flights. Next departures are 6 October, 13 October, 3 November and 22 December 2012. As the least-demanding Moroccan off road trip Exodus has in the portfolio, you don't have to be an expert biker to enjoy the superb scenic contrast of Morocco's exotic south. This an ideal introduction to off road biking in Morocco with time to explore the 'Pink City' of Marrakech with the bustling souq or peaceful Majorelle Gardens.
