FACOM debuts Brushless cordless 18V impact wrench

FACOM has launched the CL3.CH18SD cordless 18V high torque impact wrench featuring Brushless technology. The tool has been engineered for automotive and industrial professionals undertaking heavy-duty fastening applications.

Ergonomic, durable and innovative, it features a compact design with a front to back length which is 17mm shorter than the previous model, thereby allowing improved access when working in restricted areas. The latest 18V high torque impact wrench is powered by a Brushless motor, and a higher capacity FACOM 5.0Ah 18V Lithium-ion battery which is compatible with all FACOM 18V products. The result is the delivery of additional runtime, coupled with market-leading breakaway torque of 1,625Nm. In addition, three different speed settings allow the supply of optimum speed and torque according to the specific task.

The impact wrench and battery pack come complete witha glass filled nylon plastic and robust T.P.E overmould, a combination which offersenhanced protection and resistance to chemicals, grease and oil. It also prevents the product from becoming scratched or damaged. Other useful attributes include a narrow grip forward handle for superior comfort and ease of operation, particularly when wearing gloves, a super bright LED light mounted on the foot of the tool for increased visibility in tight spaces, as well as a state of charge indicator on the battery.

The FACOM 18V high torque impact wrench is offered with a stronger and more robust FACOM ToughSystem Kitbox which is IP65 rated for the safeguarding of contents from water ingress and dust. The case can be combined with any other FACOM ToughSystem storage solution for added user convenience and portability.
