Feedlamp Guarantees an Artist’s Social Content is Seen by Fans

29th October 2015, London: London based company Feedlamp has today announced the launch of Feedlamp for Artists, a suite of tools enabling artists to create highly engaging social media walls for their fans.

Feedlamp is designed specifically to address the needs of artists frustrated at producing social media content that fails to reach the target audience. Algorithms shouldn’t decide what fans see, people should. Feedlamp gives that control back to the artist.

Artists can use Feedlamp to mix and match content streams from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, SoundCloud, Vine and Spotify. They can also add fan hashtag content to the mix and let the fans’ own posts tell the story.

The Feedlamp dashboard lets the artist or their social media manager fully curate and moderate their social media content. The end result is an experience that’s perfectly pitched to the needs of both the fan and the artist.

An artist’s social wall appears on the fan site Feedlamp.com. The same social wall can also be embedded on any website or it can be displayed on big screens to bring social to live events.

Toby Britton, co-founder of Feedlamp said “We wanted to give the artists more control of their social media, with the ultimate aim of providing a compelling blend of music and social that the fans would love. The challenge was to do that without asking artists to create even more content.”

Britton continues; “The key was to use existing content but to manage it in a smarter way so that it worked much harder for the artists who created it.

There are so many social platforms out there now that it’s very hard for fans to see the complete story. Even on the most popular social networks content gets missed amongst all the other posts.

Feedlamp gives artists the power to present their social media in a coherent way and to blend that social content with their streaming music. This makes it much easier for fans to enjoy all the content intended for them.”

Sony Music has already used the platform behind Feedlamp to create social walls for the websites of artists including Kodaline, The Kinks, Olly Murs, Judas Priest, Hurts, Laura Doggett, LittleMix and UnionJ.
