Our featured job of the week is for our client, a CCG based in the East of England, who are now embarking on the process to appoint a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) who will shape and lead the financial strategy, ensuring they provide the best quality and value of services to their population, whilst operating within robust financial systems.

In addition to leading the CCG’s financial function, the CFO will work as part of the executive team in providing leadership both within the CCG and across the wider health and social care system. This will involve representing the CCG externally and playing an active and important role in shaping the future of their STP.

The CCG’s previous substantive CFO had been with the CCG since it was in shadow form and made an outstanding contribution to what they have achieved. In identifying his successor they will be looking to appoint an outstanding individual who can demonstrate excellent financial acumen, leadership experience and an in-depth understanding of the health system in this county. As a suitable candidate you will have experience operating at board-level, as either as an executive or deputy director.
