Our featured job of the week is for a large public sector organisation who are currently seeking to appoint a specialist qualified accountant to the role of Restructuring Deputy Director, providing team leadership to small teams of project delivery accountancy specialists for a period of 12 months.

Main Responsibilities:

• Will work and be accountable to the Director of the Transactions Unit;
• Providing Team leadership to small teams of project delivery accountancy specialists;
• Written reports and financial appraisals on investment cases;
• Financial modelling & Financial diligence;
• Relationship building and stakeholder management;

A successful candidate will have:

• Qualified accountant;
• Team leadership experience;
• At least 10 years’ experience in restructuring and/or stressed and distressed advisory in a top 20 firm;
• Leadership experience in delivering assignment / project outcome objectives in dedicated teams on large Independent Business Reviews;
• Report writing skills
