Press release -

LAUNCH OF THE FINEGREEN GROUP EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

The Finegreen Group (Finegreen Executive Research and idm) has extensive experience of working with Directors and Boards across the UK Health Sector. Running Executive Education Programmes since 1995, Finegreen Group is in a privileged position of now being able to offer an exciting, extended range of bespoke Board and Director development learning programmes, some leading to a formal post graduate qualification.

Changes to the Health system are placing increasing demands on current Board Directors and the future gaps in leadership are placing increased pressure on the Boards of organisations to develop aspirant leaders and create effective succession processes. Directors must be proactive, strategic and effective leaders if their organisations are to remain competitive, deliver stakeholder value and meet the increasing aspirations of patients and service users. Finegreen’s learning programmes are designed to enable Boards and Directors to remain ahead of the competition, recognise, stimulate and seize opportunities as well as lead their organisations to sustainable success.

The complexity of the health system also requires Boards and Directors to develop new ways of seeing the future, re-learning how to think strategically and learn fresh approaches so as to deal with the variability, uncertainty, ambiguity and challenges this complexity brings. The experienced Board members and Directors Finegreen Group use to facilitate their learning programmes (modular courses, post graduate qualifications, executive coaching and mentoring) have been appointed to help you and your organisation achieve long term sustainable success. They don’t just know the theory, they have the gravitas and practical expertise too.

As an example one of the experienced Board Members is Professor Dean Fathers, current Chairman of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Non-Executive Director of Finegreen Associates. Dean has a wealth of experience in a range of organisations, from blue-chips in the private sector and national Government Departments / Agencies, to medium sized private, entrepreneurial companies. He is an accomplished Chair and Director, having held numerous executive and non-executive board positions. He also has international experience as an organisational change leader, working in areas as diverse as; the automotive industry, construction, distribution, education, media, retail, and pharmaceutical / health in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Together we have put together a programme focused on Aspiring and Current Directors. Click this link to a programme that we would be keen to gain thoughts on your interest for your organisation

In addition to this, Leeds Beckett University and The idm Group have developed a partnership with the Finegreen Group to bring the opportunity of gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership (PGCEL). This qualification for busy executives combines academic recognition with highly practical delivery. The programme considers the crucial role of strategic leadership and how it can be used to enhance the collective performance of people. Effective leadership is a critical differentiation factor which allows businesses to survive, thrive and gain a unique competitive edge. We will help the postgraduates reflect on their leadership experience and approach and enable them to take steps towards becoming a more effective strategic leader. Both Professor Dean Fathers and David Hannath, Head of Organisation Development at Northern Rail are key tutors on this course.

Here is a link to the brochure with the next intakes being in May and October this year.

If you are would like an initial discussion about these opportunities for key employees within your organisation please contact me on 0845 130 4006. Both Dean Fathers and David Hannath would also be available to have a discussion with you about the details of these courses.

Finegreen Associates is a young, dynamic specialist recruitment consultancy – focusing on permanent, interim and fixed-term contract management and executive roles in both public and private sectors.

We’ve won a fair number of awards since starting in 2005 – and have been listed in the Sunday Times Fast Track Top 100 businesses – but what really keeps us going at Finegreen is the positive detailed feedback we get from our customers and candidates on a regular basis.

It is this attention to the detailed needs of the people we work for which has underpinned  Finegreen’s growth and success over the past eight years – a  success story which has bucked the challenging economic trends over that period.

Part of this attention to detail includes offering teams of specialist consultants, each expert in areas reflecting our clients’ and candidates’ fields of interest – whether this is budgets or buildings.

It’s a way of working which has seen us collect awards such as Best Small to Medium Business in both the 2013 & 2014 Best Business Awards, as well as Recruiter of the Year in both the 2013 and 2014 Health Investor Awards – while our Chief Executive Neil Fineberg has also been nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year.
