London Stansted Airport hires Fishburn Hedges for corporate and consumer PR support London Stansted Airport hires Fishburn Hedges for corporate and consumer PR support

A combined team of Fishburn Hedges and its sister agency Seventy Seven has won a competitive pitch to work with London Stansted Airport on consumer and corporate communications.

The integrated brand reputation brief will see the team work together to attract more passengers to the airport.

18 million people use the Lord Foster-designed terminal building already, and it has the infrastructure to handle twice that number.  So while debates rage about airport capacity in the south east, Fishburn Hedges Group will be promoting the airport as a medium-term solution with messages to consumers and business media.

Adam Keal, head of the corporate and brand reputation team at Fishburn Hedges, will lead the account. He said: “With the Olympics about to launch, we couldn’t imagine a better time to be working with London Stansted. Lord Foster designed the terminal and it’s no coincidence that it’s now recognised as one the most efficient airports in the world.  We can’t wait to help communicate their story.”

Will Parkes, Communications Director at London Stansted Airport, said: “We were very impressed by Fishburn Hedges Group’s energy and creativity in the pitch, and the blend of expertise from the team that they assembled. This year marks the terminal’s 21st birthday and along with the London 2012 Games, it’s a big year for us.”

Other members of the team include: Alice Johnstone, Alicia Gonzales and Tom Wadsworth.
