New hires at Fishburn Hedges strengthens sustainability and financial and professional services offerings

Fishburn Hedges is bolstering its capability in sustainability and financial and professional services with five new consultant hires this autumn.

Fiona Thorne, the recently appointed CEO of Fishburn Hedges, said: “Whilst there can be little doubt that the year ahead will have its challenges, we strongly believe that the best way to get cut-through in the market is by hiring highly skilled individuals. We are delighted to be in the midst of doing just that.”

The appointment of Phil Drew, previously head of communications for Climate Week, reflects the increased government focus on green issues and the planned roll out of the Green Deal next autumn. Phil adds to the long track record Fishburn Hedges has in advising clients on sustainability issues.

The financial and professional services team, which has long been one of Fishburn Hedges’ core areas of expertise, also welcomes four new recruits with specialist experience in this area.  Risha Parmar, Zoë Gray, Alicia Gonzales and Haw-Yan Man all arrive within weeks of each other.

Risha joins us from Lloyds Banking Group where she worked within the retail media relations team managing PR activity for consumer banking. Prior to this, Risha worked for Polhill Communications for four years.

Zoë has been working in Hotwire’s Banking and Finance team since 2009, where she focused on technology solutions, regulation, cyber-crime and innovation.  Zoë will be a great boost to our financial practice.

Alicia, who previously played a key role in developing LEWIS PR’s social media offering, joins us from 3 Monkeys Communications. She’s worked on a wide range of UK-based and global campaigns and became a finalist for the 2009 PR Week Awards for Young PR Professional of the Year.

Haw-Yan joins from Lansons Communications where she was an account executive working with a large number of financial clients.
