​Dornack International selects Fortrus Ltd to implement an Electronic Document Management System.

With over 30 years experience in the international freight forwarding and logistics business, Dornack International has an enviable and proven reputation for providing reliable, quality assured freight solutions.

Fortrus have worked closely with Dornack to provide a solution whereby users can access the system to review, validate and approve scanned documents. Over 100 invoices are scanned each month and come into the organisation from more than 200+ differing suppliers, in a variety of formats.

Once the invoices are scanned, the VAT number, date, name, net amount, tax amount, gross amount and currency are automatically extracted and populated in the metadata fields, then they are routed to the appropriate individuals for validation where a reference number is also assigned and the metadata then pushed to a 3rd party application called Datafreight.

Fortrus and Dornack International are also working closely to evolve the project into other areas of the business.
