Wear Tees Xpress X7 and NEW service X6

  • The new look X6 and X7 services will give 2 fast buses per hour on Monday to Saturday daytimes between Peterlee Bus Station, Spectrum Business Park, Seaham and Sunderland City Centre. The new X6 service will also serve Dalton Park.
  • To the south of Peterlee, the new X6 service will now run to Hartlepool, creating new links from Hartlepool, Blackhall and Horden to East Durham College, Dalton Park, Spectrum Business Park and Sunderland.
  • We’ll also be creating new local links around Peterlee, as the revised X7 route will also now include Grampian Drive, Pennine Drive, Durham Way and the Oakerside area of Peterlee. This provides a new fast link to Sunderland from these areas.
  • This means that the X7 will no longer serve Wingate, Station Town, Stockton or Middlesbrough. However, the indiGo 202 route will be extended to Wingate and Station Town to maintain links to Peterlee, as well as providing new links across Peterlee to Easington, Murton and Dalton Park. Any passengers travelling from Peterlee to Middlesbrough can use Tyne Tess Xpress services X9 and X10.
  • Stay connected as our new X6 and X7 buses will have free onboard WiFi, so you can keep up to date on your journey to work, college or shopping.
