Boy arrested in connection with vehicle crime in Portsmouth

Police were called to Ophir Road, Portsmouth, in the early hours of this morning (13 June) following a report of somebody acting suspiciously around motor vehicles.

A 16-year-old boy from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of:

• Theft from a motor vehicle
• Going equipped for theft

He's been released from custody but remains under investigation.
