CCTV released following Nursling burglary

We’re releasing CCTV images following a burglary at Co-Op in Nursling Street, Nursling, at around 4.05am on Wednesday (22 May).

At least three men, thought to be in their 20s, used tools to force the shutters and front door to gain entry to the shop.

It’s believed they were attempting to steal cigarettes; CCTV shows them heading in the direction of the cigarettes and a large builder’s rubble bag was left on the floor below the cigarette counter.

The suspects may have been disturbed, as they left the scene empty-handed.

Tools used to break in, including two wooden-handle hoes and a blue-handled spade encrusted to concrete, were left at the scene.

A stolen vehicles believed to have been used by the suspects was found a short distance from the scene and has been seized.

We’d like to hear from anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV, or anyone with any information. Call 101 quoting 44190175397.
