Press release -

16 year old boy banned from Petersfield and Liss town centres

A 16 year old boy has been excluded from coming into Petersfield or Liss town centres for three months after admitting a number of charges, including assaults and drug offences.

The boy, who is from Bosham, and cannot be named for legal reasons, was also sentenced to a 24 month Youth Rehabilitation Order with Intensive Supervision, and a curfew between 8pm and 6am that will run for four months.

The exclusions from Petersfield and Liss means the boy cannot come within two miles of either town centre.

He pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Youth Court to a number of assaults in both the Petersfield and Liss areas and possession of drugs including cocaine, cannabis and MDMA.

He also admitted charges of affray, using threatening words or behaviour and causing criminal damage.

He was sentenced last Friday at Basingstoke Youth Court.
