Appeal after bike stolen from 14 year old in Basingstoke

We are appealing for witnesses or information after a 14 year old boy had his bike stolen after he was pushed off it by two boys in Basingstoke.

The incident occurred between 8pm and 8.15pm on Sunday, May 12.

The 14 year old was cycling on a pathway on Worting Road, running alongside Basingstoke Leisure Park travelling towards the Play Park and Basingstoke Golf Centre.

He was approached by two boys aged between 17 and 20, one of whom was wearing a balaclava and the other was riding a bicycle. Both were of medium build and were wearing dark clothing.

The victim was pushed off his bike before the suspects took it and rode off in the direction of Winklebury. The victim has not sustained any injury.

The stolen bike is described as a Voodoo Canzo mountain bike with a grey/silver frame with red writing on it.
