Appeal after elderly man dies in Hedge End after collision with a bus

We're appealing for witnesses after an elderly pedestrian died after he was in collision with a bus in Hedge End.

The crash involving a single deck bus and the 88-year old man pedestrian happened at the junction of Upper Northam Road (B3036) and Wildern Lane, Hedge End, at about 6.05pm on Friday, November 16.

Unfortunately the victim died from his injuries in Southampton General Hospital earlier today.

Our officers are appealing for any dashcam or witness information that may assist with their enquiries.
