Appeal following robbery in Southsea.

We are trying to identify three men after a 19 year-old man was punched and had his wallet stolen in Southsea.

Shortly after 1am on Sunday 26 August the victim, who was walking down Kings Road, was approached by three men close to the junction with Pier Road. The victim was punched, leaving him with a nosebleed and a sore face, and his wallet was taken. The victim then ran to Elm Grove where he was helped by members of the public.

The three men ran off towards Pier Road .

The victim described the first man as:

  • White.
  • Aged in his late teens.
  • 5ft 2ins tall.
  • Stocky build.
  • He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black hooded top with the hood pulled up.

The second man was described as:

  • Mixed race.
  • Aged in his late teens.
  • 6ft 2ins tall.
  • Slim build.
  • He had hair around 3ins long on top of his head and the sides of his head were shaved.
  • He was wearing a grey tracksuit.

The third man was described as:

  • White.
  • Aged in his late teens.
  • 5ft 2ins tall.
  • Slim build.
  • He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood pulled up.
