Witness appeal made after burglary at Hampshire college

We are investigating a burglary at a Hampshire college in which a freestanding cash machine was stolen.

It took place at Treloar College, in Powell Drive, Holybourne, near Alton, around 3am on Wednesday 20 June.

Offenders broke into the main building on the campus and stole petty cash worth £1,000.

A freestanding cash machine was also taken from a shop in the building.

A Ford Transit van, which had also been taken from the college site, was later found abandoned nearby in Gaskill Close.

The cash machine has not been located.

We are investigating what happened and would like anyone with information to come forward.

Were you in this area in the early hours of Wednesday 20 June? Did you notice anything suspicious?

Perhaps you saw a Ford Transit van in the Gaskill Close area?
