ID Medical holds big cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support

On Friday 30^th September, ID Medical held its biggest cake sale to date for Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. We invited staff from across the business to bring in their home baked goodies to sell to colleagues. From chocolate brownies, to the classic Victoria sponge cake, altogether ID Medical raised £270.83.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s fundraising event for people facing cancer. One in three of us will face cancer, and the money we raised at our cake sale will help make sure no one has to face it alone.

ID Medical’s dedication to this tough cause is never over-looked and our campaign for better cancer care is ever-lasting. With our donation of £270, we could help run a small Macmillan information and support centre for a day. This is somewhere people affected by cancer can go to get the practical information they need from someone who understands what they are going through.
