TREND ALERT: The luxe faux fur rug/throw

It’s Winter which makes it open season for eco-friendly faux fur, from coats and jackets through to homewares.

When a snap of a faux fur throw was posted on a fashion retailer’s Instagram account, savvy and style-conscious shoppers couldn’t get enough. The post clocked up more than 13,000 likes and scores of comments from those looking to add a touch of cosy comfort to their bedroom space and more.

Scandi furniture retailer JYSK is championing faux fur this season with the on-trend TAKS, available in three colours - grey, off-white and dusty rose, for just £10 a piece.

And this cuddly throw really does have the same plush appeal as the real deal. What’s more, there’s a matching cushion for £7.50 and casual chair throw for £4.

Ideal for adding an accent colour in the bedroom, living room, even the bathroom, and kids adore them, too.

It seems just about everyone’s getting cosy with faux fur this season.
