Groom surprises bride with a little help from London Luton Airport

When Daniel Quintyn contacted staff at London Luton Airport for help in surprising his new bride on their wedding day, they were only to happy to help.

The romantic 35 year old from Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, wanted to create an experience to remember for his wife Shelley, as they jetted off on honeymoon just hours after their intimate wedding ceremony.

The couple were treated to their own personal check-in desk, complete with their names on the screen and an arch of balloons. After being whisked through the airport's Priority Security lane, the newlyweds were given some VIP treatment in the recently opened Hawker Bar with some complimentary champagne and a meal.

Mr & Mrs Quintyn married on 12th September having met at work six years ago. They're currently enjoying a "mini-moon" in Spain.

29 year old Shelley said she was "blown away" by the surprise which she said had left her speechless. Describing her husband as a romantic, the personal assistant said: "That's why I married him. He is so good to me and always looks after me and keeps me on my toes".

Security officer Daniel said it was an experience to treasure. "I couldn't have wished for anything better. It made our wedding day that extra special and truly memorable. I can't thank the staff at Luton enough."
