"The Nativity" - Marcel Schreur's contemporary design to be sent to 58 countries this Christmas.

Marcel Schreur, the original Dutch artist, was asked to share the design of his oil painting with the European Baptist Fedaration for their annual Christmas card. The card is destined to over 58 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Eurasia. He says "I must admit that I feel a little proud to be chosen by this huge organisation. It is a beautiful link between contemporary art and this ancient Christian festivity of joy and peace."

Schreur is known for his conceptual art. He expressed the simplicity and radiance of "The Nativity" in only 2 contrasting colours, orchestrating the lines and shapes. Connecting Heaven and Earth in this famous scene. He says "Think in curves. Curves are beautiful. Don't think in straight lines. That's law."
