Mas.s wins 2 prizes at the Chianchiano International Art Award 2012 in Italy.

The European Confederation of Art Critics, surprised Mas.s by awarding him the 3rd prize in the Art Critic award. Furthermore he received a honorable mention for Artistic merit. He says " I went in my t shirt, shorts and slippers to the award winning as I thought I did not stand a chance in this distinguished, reputable and classy field of Visual Artists."The various art critics thought different.

The award exhibition was judged by renowened experts and was curated by specialists that have staged shows in museums as the Victoria and Albert and the Leighton Museum In London and was judged by International panels from organisations such as the European Confederation of Art Critics, The Anglo Italian society of Art Critics and the Oxford University Alumni Group. The Panels where chaired by Lonnie Schlein,  Leading photo editor at the New York Times at the time of 9/11 with 35 years of experience at this important news paper.

Mas.s says " I am both moved and surprised".  He goes on "I am a little insecure, I guess that I have to start to believe all the comments from inside and outside the Art world that my work is radically new and moving, I am a simple soul trying to depict what I have experienced and see."

This achievement is not a small feat for an artist that only started to paint in oil 8 months ago.

He says "I hope that this may lead to attention and recognition from my home soil in the UK, I love to spread my best intentions this way.  In the meantime I will just continue on the wonderful journey and keep painting  these beautiful life lessons, that is what I really love."

On the picture in the Museo d Arte in Chianchiano, Italy you can see him beside his work "Where did that come from !?". In the background you can see his works "Faces" and "New Dawn"

London Art Biennale 2013. Chelsea Old Townhall is the perfect stage for this curated, museum quality exhibition.

Mas.s is one of the 140 artists from 40 countries to participitate in this exciting and prestigious exhibition which takes place from the from the 24th to the 26th of January. The London based artist will be showing his work "Never Alone! It's a beautiful day." A landscape with a difference. Light and colour is a central theme in all of his work. He says"I am honored to participate, come and see!"

London Art Biennale 2013 was a huge success. Mas.s receives an award for artistic merit.

The organisers, the participating artists and the visiting public can look back on an astounding art show. Many cultures and countries were able to showcase their artistic capabilities in a host of art forms. Mas.s "To receive an award for artistic merit, offers for gallery representations, invitations and finally a purchaser for the presented artwork was much more then I expected."

For the next 7 days Mas.s shows his award winning painting "Never Alone! its a beautiful day" in the "Art of the mind" exhibition at the Gagliardi Gallery in London. Last September he won 2 prices in Chianciano, the Tuscany and was awarded 2 weeks ago at the London Art Biennale. 30 artists are exhibiting at the same exhibition in one of the oldest contemporary art galleries in London.

Mas.s has translated the famous "Starry Night" into his style of painting." I am deeply inspired by van Gogh, and I am proud of it. His personality, the use of colours and his love for beauty has touched me profoundly." Mas.s shows in his paintings the beauty of the world, the majesty of the universe and the humbling experience of looking into space. Now to be seen at Gagliardi gallery, Chelsea.

I believe that in contemporary life this famous scene is still valid.People are being sold out. By governments,the financial system,marketing companies.Wisdom,care and hope are being sacrificed for the sake of progress and management through rigid science and regulations. Elementary we need to give ourselves to each other. We need to care, to engage with one another. Not just to eat but to share.
