Investors Dial-in to Conference Call Service Provider

The group of investors include Ryan McCarry, the founder of Sleek Networks, a well-known internet infrastructure provider acquired by Adapt in 2013. Mr. McCarry has become a board director and will assist with Meetupcall’s ambition to become a leading global conference call provider, and is focused on growing the business to £6M in the next three years.

Ryan said: “I am hugely excited about joining Meetupcall and the opportunity we have to create the world’s best conference call service. The quality of the product is exceptional and the unique user experience is game changing and ahead of their competitors. I believe we have a great team and a disruptive proposition that in time will place us at the top of the providers offering services in this sector.”

David Parkes, who has run his own successful accountancy firm for 32 yearshas also invested in Meetupcall and is appointed as the Financial Director.

David said, “As emerging companies grow, there is an increasing importance on senior management and ensuring the right investment is available. I look forward to joining Meetupcall as the Financial Director and the challenges that we’ll face in progressing the business on a sustainable path to success."

As companies look to cut costs and reduce their carbon footprint, conference calls are increasingly used as an alternative to travelling to meetings. With the growth of diverse and remote workforces and a move away from traditional offices the conference call industry is now worth an estimated £5bn globally.
